Love Pepe has sold the all-star point guard Gábor Berényi for 1.46m and has greatly improved the financial situation of the team. The 29-year-old was expected to lead the team to win promotion to IBL with a more completed lineup this season, but might have failed this mission follwoing the vital loss against their rival @九龍灣凍水 on the new year eve. Also, the veteran only contributed 18.7 points and dished out 4.3 assists per game in 18 appearances this season, which was appearantly dissapointing as a all-star level player. The 23-year-old rising star Tsui Chong Kuen was supposed to be given more minutes to fill the starting two guard position.
